Sue + Alexis
Like many other special occasions in life, it only happens once. Photographs are the easiest way to capture those special moments so that we can hang on to them forever. And for Alexis, the star of the day, turning 3 years old only happens once in a lifetime. There’s no better gift to give a 3 year old than photos full of lifetime memories. The session was held on South Beach in Staten Island in the early evening right before sunset. The weather this past week has been just perfect, with the right amount of sun and breeze. We stayed focused and continued with our shoot even though the sand and water was very tempting. Alexis was really fun and easy to work with. She was a great sport during the entire shoot. The session ended with some playtime in the park for Alexis and with some juice just as her mommy had promised. I hope that Sue and Alexis will remember this special moment together for years to come, and will share these memories with their families and friends as well. Happy 3rd Birthday, Alexis!

Jennifer + Chris
Location: White Plains, NY – Tarrytown House Estates
I was invited to many BBQ’s, beaches and weekend getaways with family and friends this past holiday weekend, but I chose to celebrate the nation’s birthday with the beautiful couple Jennifer + Chris. On top of that, I had the pleasure to work with two great photographers, Timothy and Glenn, who invited me to help capture the couple’s special day. The couple wanted a wedding away from the city and chose a great location about 25 miles from midtown Manhattan. Tarrytown NY is beautiful and serene, and is known to “bring together the charm of an historic Hudson River town with the vibrancy of a living community”. The historical buildings and hotels built brings memories of the 19th century period. The open fields of grass and tall trees provided me with plenty of fresh air and relaxation, which definitely helps my creativity when shooting. It was a long day of celebrations and the night ended off with warm wishes from many of their friends and families to the newlyweds.
Special thanks to Timothy and Glenn, who I worked with for this wedding. Please visit their website to check out some of their amazing photography work.
